I’m a really big fan of stores with background images. It adds a ton of personality.

I totally agree. There’s nothing more that adds a personal touch than your choice of backgrounds and pix. Every little detail adds up. I just added a Halloween background, it just seems so much more festive and it shows you’re involved in your site that you update and check frequently.
